How scoring works
- Base points: 10 per letter. Less common words are worth ×1.25, rare ones ×1.5 (long words, or words with q, x, z, j, numbers or symbols get extra).
- Speed: each word has a target time (about 0.2 s per letter). Beat it for up to 2× points. Slow words still earn at least half.
- Typos: each wrong key takes off 10%, down to half points.
- Skipped words score 0. When time runs out, the word on screen doesn't count.
